Welcome to my website!
This website will explore the work that I have done in English 101 here at Emory University in the Fall of 2013! I explored multilingualism through my personal narrative, research, interviews, and collaborating with other members in our class.
INTRODUCTION
Hello Everyone! Thank you for taking a moment to look at my website! I am now ending my first semester here at Emory University, and I created this website for my Writing 101 course: Living Multilingualism. My family loves to travel, and so do I! I am so interested in different cultures and languages, and this course gave me a deeper insight regarding these topics while also improving my writing skills. English is my first language, but I also speak French and Spanish. I have been to multiple countries in Europe and Africa, including France, Scotland, England, Portugal, Greece, Turkey, Italy, Kenya, and Tanzania. I have experienced many different lifestyles fueled by many different languages that I hope to someday learn. The topic of multilingualism fascinates me, especially as my mom speaks five languages herself- English, French, Spanish, Romanian, and Hebrew. Let the learning, curiousity, and tons of questions continue past this website! I know they will!
Purpose
I hope to evolve this site as I grow in writing experience over the next four years, but keeping it simple is always the best place to start. For now, I will mainly use this page to post in class writing assignments and projects. Hopefully I can eventually include blogs, travel logs, and even pictures. I would love to keep you updated on the happenings here at Emory University and all the fun events and activities going on!
